car
- From Austria:
from Villach take the motorway to Tarvisio-Udine (A23 in Italy). Then
exit at "Udine sud" and take Gorizia direction. After about 30
km
you will arrive in Cormons. At traffic light turn left.
Skip to
Plessiva route.
- From Slovenia (or Croatia via Ljubljana): motorway
Ljubljana-Podnanos-Nova Gorica then cross the border to Italy (Gorizia)
and take Udine direction (you have to exit to the normal road, not to go on motorway). After 15 km you will
arrive in
Cormons (Krmin is the slovenian name). At traffic light turn right. Skip to
Plessiva route.
- From Rijeka (Croatia): take the route to Trieste-Trst, enter in Italy
at
Pesek-Kozina frontier, then take Venezia direction and enter in A4
motorway. You can exit in "Monfalcone Est" and take Gorizia direction
(see previous point).
Route
to Plessiva: after passed the traffic light and railway bridge go
straight in via Gorizia (don't turn left to Cividale) then turn right
and follow indications to "Confine di stato"(state border) and "Bosco
Plessiva" (Plessiva forest). When you are close to "Zegla" village
turn
left to Plessiva. After the climb the cellar is on the right, before
the state frontier.

By
train or bus
From Austria: take a
train from Villach to Italy via Tarvisio and then get out in Udine
station.
There take a train Gorizia-Trieste and get out in Cormons station. Then
you will have a pick up to Plessiva.
From Slovenia: you can arrive by train or bus to Nova Gorica, then
cross the border to Gorizia with a bus and take a train to Cormons. It
is also possible to arrive in Trieste and take a train to Udine
direction. Then get out in Cormons station. You will have a pick up to
Plessiva (you can also have a pick up in Gorizia or Trieste if there's not trains in time for Cormons).
From Rijeka (Croatia): take a bus to Trieste-Trst and take a train in
the station as described above.
It's also possible to have a lift by car in Udine or Trieste. Don't
esitate to contact us to have info about other solutions and/or
trasport's timetables.
